Midweek Confessions

- I hate taking showers. I try to take one every other day. Sometimes in the winter - when I do not sweat a lot, it might be longer. UGH. I cannot believe I really admitted that to anyone else besides my husband (and only because he lives with me & I can't lie to him). I have super thick, coarse hair (my hair stylist cousin say its like Spanish hair - even though I am 90% Irish) and I only need to wash my hair twice a week so that isn't much motivation.

- I gave the pugs a bath on Saturday. In our shower since we have a removable shower head. The last time they have been bathed was when I took them to the groomers. That was right before I had Avery. She is 9 months old. I know, I am a bad pug mama. I do try to keep up with their wrinkle cleaning - those suckers can get funky (and can get infected if not taken care of regularly, I learned that from experience) and I clip their nails when needed. So they were not completely neglected.

- Since I am on the cleaning confession kick - I cleaned our ceramic tiled floor in the kitchen/hallway this weekend. The last time these floors have been thoroughly cleaned was when I had Stanley Steemer come in and do it. Again that was right before I had Avery. And again, she is now 9 months old. We did spot cleaning here and there but not as good as it needed with 2 people and 3 dogs walking on it daily.

Please don't judge and think I am a dirt ball with a soon-to-be-condemned home. Ryan does A LOT to help me keep this place livable. ANd with Avery into everything, it has prompted me to make more of an effort to keep our house clean.

xoxo

We just hit the stage where Josie is now into everything and suddenly keeping the place clean becomes top priority. I'm good with keeping things tidy, but deep cleaning is my least favorite house chore. Yuck.

I also hate showering and only do it every other day (and sometimes less). Reason being - doing my hair is annoying... it always seems to take energy. Not much more time, but just thought and energy. And I don't particularly love being wet.

You aren't a dirtball yet... ;)
